Target Audience: Residence Hall Coordinators
Time Frame: Spring 2014
Length: 30-60 minutes
Number of Sessions: Six 

Objective

This project seeks to provide a six session professional development series for Residence Hall Coordinators that explore effective ways to infuse educational technology within in a residential education model through the TPACK framework. This will be completed through an active case study, which aims to enhance our current strengths interventions with sound educational technology practices. 

Series Goals:

As a result of participating in this professional development series Residence Hall Coordinators will be able to:
  1. Identify the different skills needed to implement pedagogically sound educational technology. 
  2. Utilize the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge framework to enhance an educational practice. 
  3. Identify appropriate technologies for specific educational purposes. 
  4. Develop a proposal for technology use within our department that outlines utility, enhanced student learning, and budget.
